I agree that communication is important. But add to it the inquiry piece of communication. I state this because without a focus one would not know what to communicate.

Observations
The taxonomies represented in the assigned article are a balance between learning and doing, media for inquiry, media for learning, media for communication, and media for construction.
I appreciate media for communication because without the course package web systems we would not be able to learn in the blackboard environment. I was interested in the media for construction piece because it discusses multiple systems of knowledge that are streamed together in a coordinated manner. But when examining Media for inquiry, I know that this is the taxonomy area that I would like to discuss. Media for inquiry sites are typically interactive and designed to complement the lesson plan.
